If you're interested in becoming a Handy.com handyman (i.e. Gig worker!), you can fill out their application online. They say you can make *up to* $22 per hour as a cleaner or $45 an hour as a handyman.

Like all the other gig companies, they say you choose when you want to work. But of course you can only work when customers want you to! And your payments are direct-deposited into your bank account soon after the job is complete. (That means they don't have instant pay and you'll usually have to wait several days or up to a week to get your money. But you don't have to worry about collecting from your customers).

Keep in mind that these advertised earnings are not what you really earn. They're what handy charges the customer. Then they pay you something less after they subtract out their cut of the pie.

Most of these gigs that let workers set their own prices are pretty decent. Although a lot of them take a lot bigger cut than the ones where you have no control over the price.
