What City & State do you work in?
San Antonio
Yep... but barely. They almost went out of business in late 2017 until Hansu Kim. Kim is a veteran San Francisco cab company owner. In 2014 he saw the taxi industry crumbling and knew something had to be done.

In 2018 he bought Flywheel - a ride-hail app designed for taxi drivers only. Flywheel had most of the Bay City's cab drivers signed up.

But now, they're revolting and it doesn't seem like Flywheel is going to be able to hold them together. Apparently, they have come to believe that Flywheel is trying to become the sole pay system through which all SF taxi rides go through. Meaning that Flywheel would earn a commission off of every single cab ride in the city. It also means that Flywheel would have monopolistic control over how big of a cut drivers have to fork over on each trip.

They're probably right and if so, it sounds like Flywheel may finally be on its last legs.
